PRESS: FEATURE IN MODERN LUXURY INTERIORS CHICAGO

We’re thrilled to announce that our recent Bucktown remodel project has been featured in Modern Luxury Interiors Chicago, Volume 1, 2023! This project stands out as one of our most transformative "before and after" renovations to date.

Working closely with Corey Lohmann Design, we took great care to upgrade the home’s lighting while being mindful of both budget and sustainability. By retaining as many of the existing housings as possible and incorporating LED retrofit trims, we minimized construction costs without compromising on light quality or functionality.

One of the most striking transformations occurred in the central stair hall, which was previously a dark, underwhelming space with exposed red brick. We introduced a skylight that floods the area with natural light, instantly brightening the core of the home. To enhance the evening ambiance, we added linear lighting within the skylight, providing a soft, inviting glow after sundown.

In addition, we upgraded the home’s lighting control system. The standard dimmers and switches were replaced with a lighting control system that allows for custom scenes to be activated via keypads or even voice control, putting total control at the homeowners’ fingertips.
